Yertas was established in 1975 as a mining company with its head office in Ankara. Between 1975 and 1980 the company mainly operated chrome and coal mines. Since 1980, the company has moved towards the construction sector and has mainly specialized on: • Tunnels • Municipal subways • Metro projects • Dam derivations and lakes • Highways • Residential accomodation Yertaş has a vast experience of underground excavation in various types of geology thoughout Turkey. In addition, the company is working on several construction contracts abroad, as joint ventures: road and tunnel construction in Yemen and road construction in Kyrgz Rebublic In addition, Yertas has had an additional office in Dubai since 2004, this office currently manages a stone quarry.
